Youth Town Hall

About Youth Town Hall

Youth Town Hall is a campaign-paid, independent venue for written questions and recorded candidate answers. This page explains how the format works, what information the platform handles, who pays for each hall, and which historical and supporting material still requires verification.

What Youth Town Hall is

A Youth Town Hall is a single-candidate, non-debate format. People submit questions in writing, the candidate answers selected questions on recorded video, and published answers include captions and transcripts. The finished exchange remains available as a lasting public record.

How questions become answers

Questions are submitted through a screening process and reviewed by a person before publication. The candidate's campaign chooses which questions the candidate will answer. A question is published exactly as submitted or not at all; neither the campaign nor Youth Town Hall can edit its wording.

Privacy and data handling

Participation uses a working email, an age attestation, and a city and ZIP code consistent with the district. Youth Town Hall does not ask for a street address and does not verify identity, residency, or voter registration. The campaign never receives a participant's contact information, and the privacy page governs the platform's retention and deletion schedule.

Who pays and what payment does not buy

Each hall identifies the campaign that paid for it and pairs that disclosure with the statement that Youth Town Hall is an independent vendor. Payment buys the venue; it does not buy participant contact information, permission to edit submitted questions, or different rules from those offered to another candidate in the race.
